A key point in real estate is to know what’s local. What fun activities and experiences surround each area? Where can children engage in family fun? Rest assured, if you’re buying a property in the South East, the kids are certainly covered. Here are 7 of the many activities available nearby!

1. Myuna Farm in Doveton

Myuna Farm is a clear favourite in the South Eastern suburbs. Giving you the opportunity to cuddle baby animals, visit reptiles, meet Australian native animals, feed animals, and have a chat with their talking cockatoo, Joey Davis.

The farm also boasts a fun maze, a colourful playground, train rides, and pony rides!

2. Springvale Indoor Sports in Springvale South

This indoor sports centre is open on weekends and a great way to release your kid’s energy! Springvale Indoor Sports hosts a variety of activities such as laser tag, bubble soccer, nerf wars, dodgem cars, jumping castles, and also hosts birthday parties. Your children also have space to play cricket, soccer, netball, and dodgeball!

3. Clip n’ Climb in Berwick

The place where challenge meets adrenaline. After a harnessing briefing and a safety rundown, your kids are able to run, jump, and climb all over the indoor setup to their liking. One attraction in particular features a rock-climbing wall that functions as a massive touchscreen for interactive games.

4. Lunar Drive-In - Dandenong

For some late night family fun, consider a movie night at the Drive-In. With drinks, popcorn, hot jam donuts, and more. Bring your camping chairs or turn your boot into a comfy, blanketed retreat and enjoy your chosen film beneath the starry night.

5. Montague Orchard – Narre Warren North

Featuring Pick-Your-Own orchard tours, you’ll find fresh apples, pears, plums, apricots, peaches, and nectarines. They also host annual Spring Festivals featuring farmers markets, fruit tastings, kids activities, and live music. Finish up with a nice family meal from Stella’s restaurant, inspired by the Montague family matriarch.

6. Holey Moley – Ringwood

Holey Moley offers a day packed with fun for all ages – especially kids! Mini-golf featuring pop culture inspired setups like The Simpsons. These creative designs make for excellent and memorable photo opportunities!

7. Dandenong Market - Dandenong

The iconic market everyone knows, where you’ll find a variety of wares, toys, and their unmissable hot jam donuts that have become famous. The 154-year old market attracts 4 million visitors per year, and is an excellent experience for the kids!
